Junior Performance Center
We have been operating a youth development center (NLZ) as a licensed club since June 2002, following the guidelines of the German Football League (DFL). The goal is to create optimal development conditions for young football players. Since 2024, the NLZ has been located at the Oberspree training center.
The sports training is carried out according to the binding training concept based on long-term age-appropriate performance development. Clear learning objectives, related to the respective development phases, are formulated for all age groups.
Sports promotion
"Promoting competitive sports, providing sports support" has been a lived practice at Union for many years. With passion and commitment, the club advocates for the promotion of sports, especially for the youngest members of our society.
We see the interplay between daycare, school, and sports clubs as a significant factor for child development. To enable health and movement promotion for as many children as possible, it is important to create opportunities where children spend a lot of time: in kindergartens and schools.
