Loan deal to Turkey:

Puchacz joins Trabzonspor

1. FC Union Berlin left-back Tymoteusz Puchacz has joined Turkish side Trabzonspor on loan until the end of the season.

1. FC Union Berlin left-back Tymoteusz Puchacz has joined Turkish side Trabzonspor on loan until the end of the season.

Abdullah Avci's side are currently top of the Turkish SuperLig. Puchacz made seven appearances for the Köpenick club following his arrival from Lech Poznan and made an assist in the UEFA Europa Conference League play-off match against KuPS. 

"We are really happy with Tymoteusz's mentality. We want to give him the loan option to get some minutes for the next half year, which we can't guarantee that. We consider Trabzonspor a very good loan partner because they have a high quality squad and are playing a very good season. More match practice will definitely help him in his development before he returns to us from 01 July," said Oliver Ruhnert, 1. FC Union Berlin's Managing Director for Professional Football.
