Fabio Schneider joins KuPS on loan

1. FC Union Berlin's 19-year-old midfielder Fabio Schneider will join Finland's KuPS on loan until the end of the season.

1. FC Union Berlin's 19-year-old midfielder Fabio Schneider will join Finland's KuPS on loan until the end of the season.

Union's academy graduate will head to the Finnish Cup Winners, who faced 1. FC Union Berlin in the play-off round of this season's UEFA Europa Conference League.

 

"From the Europa Conference league match against KuPS, we got very positive impressions from the club. We see KuPS as a good environment for Fabio who, as a young player, can get minutes and experience. It's possible that the loan deal is extended beyond the summer," said 1. FC Union Berlin Managing Director for Professional Football, Oliver Ruhnert.
