Union Take Case to Permanent Court of Arbitration

Today, Wednesday, 1. FC Union Berlin filed an arbitration action with the chairman of the Permanent Arbitration Court for Clubs and Corporations of the Licensed Leagues [tändigen Schiedsgerichts für Vereine und Kapitalgesellschaften der Lizenzligen] by the required deadline.

Today, Wednesday, 1. FC Union Berlin, represented by the law firm Lentze Stopper, who specialise in sports law, filed an arbitration action with the chairman of the Permanent Arbitration Court for Clubs and Corporations of the Licensed Leagues [tändigen Schiedsgerichts für Vereine und Kapitalgesellschaften der Lizenzligen] by the required deadline.

The aim of this is to have the rulings of the DFB Federal Court of 28 February 2025 and the DFB Sports Court of 9 January 2025 regarding the match against VfL Bochum on match day 14 declared invalid.
