and mobile applications in accordance with the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG) as well as the requirements for accessibility under the Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and the Council.

Compliance status with the requirements

The evaluation of the compliance of the websites and mobile applications with the BFSG was conducted in the form of a self-test using the "Axe-core" tool from Playwright. Axe-core checks the pages according to WCAG 2.1 Level A & AA. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define standards to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Furthermore, we are in regular communication with our fan representative for inclusion and diversity with the AG Inclusion and use the feedback for our pages for continuous improvement.

Non-accessible content and current implementation status

We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our websites and mobile applications. Some websites and areas do not yet fully meet the requirements. The following listed content is not always accessible:

  • Not all content and functions are fully operable via keyboard navigation.
  • Not all images and graphics have alternative texts for readability with screen readers and other assistive technologies.
  • Background and text colors do not always have sufficient contrast ratios.
  • Older images sometimes lack the ALT text.

We have initiated relevant measures to address these issues in order to achieve a high level of accessibility.
