Women on International Duty
Record Number of Call-Ups

A total of six players from the women's team of 1. FC Union Berlin have been called up for the current international break. Never before have so many been nominated at the same time; with some of them even due to face each other.
The nominees
The Turkish national team are counting on defender Fatma Sakar, whose goal is to make further appearances at international level after her debut in October. In the UEFA Nations League, Türkiye will face Ireland and Greece. This could lead to a direct clash between Sakar and her teammates Eleni Markou and Athanasia Moraitou.
