1. FC Union Berlin’s women’s team will have to do without Maria Cristina Lange for the time being, after the attacking player suffered a knee injury in training.

The 23-year-old moved to Köpenick in the summer from relegated Bundesliga side 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam. With an impressive tally of 11 goals and five assists in five games, Lange made an immediate impression, and showed why FCU had signed her in the summer.
