Defender to Miss Bochum and Gütersloh

Union defender Eleni Markou has suffered an injury while away with the Greek national team and will miss out on the final two games before the winter break.
The 1. FC Union Berlin women's team will have to do without Eleni Markou for the final stretch of the first half of the 2024/25 season.
The defensive all-rounder sustained an injury while playing for the Greek national team and will not be available for Union head coach Ailien Poese in Sunday's game against VfL Bochum or in the final game of the year against FSV Gütersloh 2009.
