For the 16th time, 1. FC Union Berlin are happy to invite everyone along to the traditional Women's Football Day.

The family festival for young and old will take place on Monday, 1 May, on and around the training pitches in Hämmerlingstraße in Berlin-Köpenick. The sporting highlight of the day will be a friendly between Union's women's side and the second division's 1. FC Köln, at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei.

Admission is free, kick-off is at 2 pm.

To open proceedings, all the players from the girls' and women's departments of 1. FC Union Berlin will be playing matches on the training pitches in Hämmerlingstraße from 9 am onwards. There will, as always, be mini and small pitch tournaments as well as friendlies involving the junior, and U-23 women.

And all your little Unioners can let off steam on the bouncy castle, try out their shooting at the goal wall or have their face painted.
