Last Saturday, 1. FC Union Berlin invited their partners and sponsors to our traditional Union Sponsors Cup.

A total of 26 companies with 230 players accepted the invitation to come to the Stadion An der Alten Försterei, with another 150 supporting from the stands. On the same pitch where the likes of Felix Kroos have shown their skills in the past, the amateurs played a bunch of competitive games for the coveted trophy.

In the end, the victors were Team boeba Montagen-und Aluminium Bau GmbH, who saw off LBS Nord in the final. Third place went to RTC Spedition und Logistik GmbH.

At the same time as the final, FC Bayern München and Eintracht Frankfurt competed in the DFB Pokal final and the game was broadcast to our participants in the Eisern Lounge.

Falco Bauer was awarded the prize for top scorer. He scored an impressive eight goals for his side in the tournament.

1. FC Union Berlin would like to thank all the participants for a competitive and fair competition. A fantastic day was had all round and the supporters are also thanked for their backing from the stand.
