1. FC Union Berlin have been forced to cancel Thursday's friendly against Eintracht Braunschweig.

"Due to the number of sick and injured players, who will not make a return until Thursday, and the cancellations for internationals, a friendly game doesn't make much sense. We would like to thank Eintracht Braunschweig for their understanding and we will make up for the game," explained Oliver Ruhnert, Director for Professional Football at 1. FC Union Berlin.
