The German FA (DFB) have confirmed the scheduling for the first round of the 2018/19 DFB Pokal. 1. FC Union Berlin’s trip to third division side Carl Zeiss Jena will be played at the Ernst-Abbe Sportfeld on Sunday August 19 at 18:30 local time.

The first round draw is a repeat of Union's historic FDGB Pokal victory, 50 years ago. On Sunday, the two teams will meet to open the season in an anniversary match at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei in Köpenick. Tickets are available here.
