Union take on Ceske Budejovice
Union in Austria:
After four days of training in Austria, Urs Fischer's team will play the first of two friendlies on Friday afternoon at 14:30. Union will take on Dynamo Ceske Budejovice from the top tier of the Czech Republic at the Neukirchen Sportplatz.
Opposition Report
For three years now, SK Dynamo Ceske Budejovice - as the club is called in the national language - has once again been a permanent fixture in the Czech first division. After relegation in the 2012/13 season, the club had great difficulty returning to the top flight. Although they managed direct promotion, they were relegated again in the 2014/15 season and then spent four years in the second division.
In the squad planning for the new season, Dynamo has so far relied on a good mix of young players with potential and experienced players. Especially on the offensive side, the Budweiser upgraded: With Roman Potocny and Tomas Zajic (both FC Banik Ostrava) as well as Jakub Svec (Dunjaska Streda) and Martin Splichal (MFK Chrudim) they equipped their attacking department in every possible position.
