1. FC Union Berlin will open the Bundesliga campaign for 2021/22 at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei against Bayer Leverkusen. Today, the DFL have confirmed the schedule and the opening game will take place at the traditional time of 15:30 on Saturday, August 14.

With European action to come, Urs Fischer's side will play on Sunday August 22 (15:30) at Hoffenheim and Sunday August 29 (15:30) against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
