Union head to Klosterpforte for 10-day camp
Hard work begins:
Urs Fischer and his players travel to Klosterpforte in Nordrhein-Westfalen on Sunday July 8 for the second training camp of the summer.
Together with the staff and coaching team, 23 outfield players and three goalkeepers will travel to the west of Germany by bus at 09:00. However, the group will be missing Sebastian Polter, Marc Torrejón and Fabian Schönheim, who are not present for the time being.
Following his season-ending Achilies tendon injury, Sebastian Polter is back in Berlin, while centre-back Marc Torrejón is preparing for his return from a muscle injury in Spain.
Fabian Schönheim is continuing his rehabilitation at home.
After the team's arrival in Klosterpforte, the first training session is at 16:30.
