1. FC Union Berlin will take on VfB Germania Halberstadt from the Regionalliga Nordost in the first round of the 2019/20 DFB Pokal on Sunday August 11 at 15:30.

The fourth-tier side play at the 5,000-capacity Friedensstadion in Halberstadt, which is around 200km away from the capital.

Last season, Urs Fischer's side ran into Borussia Dortmund in the second round, drawing 2-2 at the Westfalenstadion after 90 minutes, but losing a late goal in extra time to go out.
