1. FC Union Berlin have scheduled two further friendlies for the upcoming summer and are looking forward to the visit of two big names from Europe. Union will face Glasgow Rangers on Saturday, 27.07.2024 and Real Sociedad two weeks later, on 09.08.2024, both at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei.

Scottish Record Champions

The footballing heavyweight from Glasgow can look back on an impressive collection of titles, 55 national league titles means that Rangers still have one more than the 54 won by arch rivals Celtic. Despite this, the current Scottish runners-up have had to wait three years since their last title.

Sheraldo Becker Pays a Visit

Real Sociedad, the sixth-placed team from last season's LaLiga, will be the opponents in the final friendly match before the DFB Pokal first round. The two-time Spanish champions from San Sebastián are also the new home to former Union star, Sheraldo Becker, since the winter.

 Information on advance ticket sales

Ticket sales for both games will start online on Friday, 14.06.2024 (10 a.m.). Up to four tickets can be purchased per member. Tickets for the test against Real Sociedad will also go on sale on Monday, June 17 (10:00). Tickets for the game against Rangers will not be on general sale for the time being. Tickets for the friendlies will be available in Union's zeughaus stores from 17.06.2024.

Bundesliga admission prices apply. All tickets in the main stand are available at the price of the cheapest seating category.
