1. FC Union Berlin's first-team squad returned to pre-season training at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei this week.

The team has been in Köpenick since Wednesday, but there are some absentees due to international commitments during the summer — Rafal Gikiewicz, Sebastian Andersson, Marcus Invgartsen and Cihan Kahraman have been given an extended break after their respectives appearances at international level.

The first training session on the pitch is scheduled for Saturday June 29 on the adjacent fields to the Stadion An der Alten Försterei.

Note: The club recommends not to visit the first session given the small capacity for supporters to observe. Entrance cannot be guaranteed.

We cordially invite all supporters to the traditional season opener on Saturday July 7 at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei, with a friendly match against Brondby IF scheduled.

Next week, the team will head to a short training camp in Bad Saarow between Sunday and Wednesday.
