Union Berlin add Behrens to first-team squad

1. FC Union Berlin have strengthened their attacking options ahead of the Bundesliga season with the addition of Kevin Behrens from 2.Bundesliga outfit SV Sandhausen.
The 30-year-old striker has scored 31 goals for Sandhausen in the second division since his arrival in 2018. He scored goals previously in the 3.Liga – his overall tally is 41 goals in 85 matches for Sandhausen. Behrens previously pulled on the jerseys of Rot-Weiß Essen, 1. FC Saarbrücken, Alemannia Aachen, Hannover U23s, Werder Bremen and SV Wilhelmshaven.

Of course, I still know Union from our games together in the second division and I'm looking forward to playing regularly at Stadion An der Alten Försterei soon. I want to contribute with my performance to continue the great development of the club in recent years in the new season and can hardly wait to start preparing with the team," added Behrens upon his arrival.
