After two winters without a training camp, 1. FC Union Berlin will travel to Spain, utilising the long winter break to prepare for the second half of the season. The 2023 winter training camp, once again accompanied by Union's long-standing partner sonnenschutz.de, will take place from 02.01. - 11.01.2023 in Campoamor, Spain.

Preparation in the best possible conditions

The Costa Blanca is notable not only for its unspoilt hinterlands, but also its temperate climate. With an average of 14 degrees in January, the region offers ideal conditions for intensive preparation. The area east of Murcia is not uncharted territory for Union. Before Corona made such trips impossible, Union had already succesfully lead a winter training camp in Campoamor.

Two friendlies are planned. Information on the exact dates and opponents will follow as soon as they are known.
