1. FC Union Berlin checked in to the Aqua Dome resort in Tirol, Austria ahead of the second pre-season training camp of the summer. The team made the trip from Berlin to Austria early on Monday morning.

Niklas Kaus, Niklas Petsch, Malick Sanogo and Yannic Stein joined up with the first-team squad for the trip to Austria — the latter duo were already training with the professional side since the start of the summer. The team landed in Vienna and went on to Innsbruck, where the team bus took them the last 75km to Oberlängenfeld.

1. FC Union Berlin captain Christopher Trimmel welcomed his team-mates to the hotel off the back of his appearance at the European Championship with Austria. 

The squad went for a light run at 16:00 — excluding Sebastian Griesbeck and Niklas Petsch who trained with fitness coach Martin Krüger and rehab coach Chris Busse. Grischa Prömel worked individually in the hotel swimming pool with physio Frank Placzek.
