1. FC Union Berlin will begin preparations for the Bundesliga campaign on January 4 in the Spanish training camp at Campoamor near Alicante.

The Köpenick club have scheduled three friendly matches for the camp ahead of the competitive action on January 18.

At 11am on January 6, 1. FC Union Berlin will play OH Leuven followed by Royale Union Saint-Gilloise at 4pm. Both teams compete in the Belgian second division.

The final match is planned for January 11 at 15:00 when Urs Fischer's team will play Ferencvaros of Hungary.

All matches will take place on the training pitches of the Hotel Golf Campoamor. Those are who are on location will be allowed to watch the matches.
