1. FC Union Berlin striker Sebastian Andersson has received a call-up to the Swedish national team ahead of the upcoming international break.

Sweden manager Janne Andersson first brought the 27-year-old into the national fold back in October as a reward for his excellent start to the season.

His continued good scoring form has been rewarded once more. He has netted 10 league goals this season in the 2.Bundesliga with a further strike in the German Cup.

Andersson will look to help his country make a good start in qualification for the European Championships with matches at home to Romania and away to Norway.
