Moser and Maciejewski to stay in Klagenfurt

1. FC Union Berlin academy graduates Lennart Moser and Tim Maciejewski have extended their loan stay at Austria Klagenfurt and will compete in the Bundesliga next season.

The Köpenick pair signed for Klagenfurt back in January and helped the team secure promotion to Austria's top division. Maciejewski scored two goals and claimed three assists in his 13 appearances in Klagenfurt, while Lennart Moser featured three times due to injury in his first few weeks at the club. Both will have the opportunity to earn valuable experience and game time in the Bundesliga.

"For young players it is important to gain as much experience as possible. Both Tim and Lennart have developed enormously both athletically and personally in recent months. We are sure that another loan makes sense and are pleased that both players will have the opportunity to play in the Austrian Bundesliga in the new season," said Oliver Ruhnert, 1. FC Union Berlin's Managing Director for Professional Football.
