Keita Endo to Stay in Braunschweig

1. FC Union Berlin and Keita Endo have agreed to extend his loan deal with Eintracht Braunschweig.

1. FC Union Berlin and Eintracht Braunschweig have agreed to extend the loan of midfielder Keita Endo, ensuring the Japanese midfielder will continue to play in the 2. Bundesliga for the 2023/24 season.

From Japan to Germany

In the summer of 2020, the now 25-year-old left his Japanese homeland for Europe. Having initially joined 1. FC Union Berlin on loan for the 2020/21 season, the Eisernen went on to sign the two-time international on a permanent basis.

Endo made 21 appearances for 2Union before moving on to play for Eintracht Braunschweig in the 2. Bundesliga on loan last summer. There, he became a regular starter, especially in the middle of the season, ultimately making a total of 20 appearances in the famous yellow jersey.
