Julius Kade switches to Dynamo Dresden
Local midfielder departs:
Midfielder Julius Kade has left 1. FC Union Berlin to join Dynamo Dresden.
The 21-year-old arrived from Hertha Berlin in 2019 before the club's promotion-winning season. He was included in the squad this season in the Bundesliga on three occasions. Kade, born in Berlin, has represented Germany at various youth levels including U16, U18 and U19.
"Due to the close competition in our squad, it was difficult for him to gain playing experience in the past season. Julius' talent is undisputed, which is why we have secured a buyback option for him. At his age, it is extremely important to be on the pitch regularly and to gain further experience, so the change is a sensible step for him. We wish him every success in his future career," explained Oliver Ruhnert, Director for Professional Football at 1. FC Union Berlin.
