For all fans travelling to Schalke, here is some important information for your trip to the VELTINS-Arena.

Getting there

• Stadium
  VELTINS-Arena | Rudi-Assauer-Platz 1 | 45891 Gelsenkirchen
• Arrival by car
  The arena can be reached as follows:
• Coming from the A2: via exits 6 (Gelsenkirchen-Buer) and 7 (Herten)
  From the A42: via exit 17 (Gelsenkirchen-Schalke)
• The guest parking spaces for cars are approached via "Berni-Klodt-Weg". These turn right into car park E2. The parking fee is €5 per vehicle and will be collected on exit after the match. Those who drive into the car park two hours before kick-off will receive an exit ticket and can park free of charge.
• Fan buses
  The guest parking spaces for coaches are also accessed via "Berni-Klodt-Weg". They turn left there into the Gelsenwasser car park, for which there is a parking fee of 20 euros per coach.
• By train/public transport
  Arrival is via Gelsenkirchen main station. If needed, shuttle buses to the VELTINS Arena will be available at the southern exit of the station. These will also take you to the Gelsenwasser car park.
• People with limited mobility can reach the arena by taking tram line 302 via the "Willy-Brandt-Allee" stop. This stop is free of stairs and only slightly further away from the arena.

On arrival

• Stadium opening
  120 minutes before kick-off: 1:30 p.m.
  The stadium regulations apply.
• Away sectors
• Blocks U, V, W as well as 63 and 64 are for away fans.
• Admission
  The usual control measures will take place at the entrance to the stadium.
  The blood alcohol limit at the entrance is 1.6 per mil. Random checks will be carried out.
• Luggage/Bags
  Bags larger than A4 are not allowed into the arena. Larger bags can be handed in free of charge at the South and East 2 entrances.
• Away tickets
  There are no remaining tickets.
• Fan paraphernalia
  Access to the home fans' sectors in the colours of the visiting team will not be permitted. Snoods are not permitted anywhere in the arena.
• Union merchandise will be available to all on site at the Union-Zeughaus in the away sector.
