On Thursday, 15 September 2022, 1. FC Union Berlin will play their first away match in the UEFA Europa League in Braga, Portugal, and an expected 2,600 Unioner fans will be travelling to support the team at the Estádio Municipal.

Around 1,500 of them have taken advantage of the air travel offer from 1. FC Union Berlin and will travel to Portugal and back in one of five charter planes. The following departure times from BER Airport apply for the individual planes:

Please note:

• The number (1 to 5) of the booked aircraft can be found in the booking confirmation as well as in the e-mail requesting personal data.
• The counters at the airport are expected to open 3 hours before departure.
• Only hand luggage is allowed, no luggage can be checked in.
• There will be no catering on the flight
• The flight time for all flights is 3 h 10. Please note the time difference (- 1 hour) on arrival.
• It is recommended you arrive at least 2.5 hours before your flight

Bus transfer: stadium - Porto airport

There are 30 buses available at the Estádio Municipal in Braga for the return transfer to Porto Airport. Scheduled departure time is 23:59.

Please note: There is no transfer from Porto airport to the stadium. Arrival will be on an individual basis. From 09:30 onwards, buses will run between Porto and Braga at hourly intervals (journey time approx. 1 hour).

Departure times Porto-BER

According to current information, the planes will take off from Porto Airport between 07:00 and 07.30 with a scheduled arrivals at BER between 10.20 and 11.50. However, discussions are still underway with the local authorities to ensure that the fan planes can take off during the night and land at BER in the early morning. The final flight times will be announced shortly.

Away fans "all in white" motto shirt

As was the case for the Europa League home match last Thursday, there will also be a T-shirt specially created for the away match by the club in cooperation with Szene Köpenick. The shirt will be available from today in the Waldseite Zeughaus, and in Portugal at the central meeting point (Praça Conde de Agrolongo) for €10.
