Day 7: Running & Stretching

During the weekend, the players in Klosterpforte are given just one training session per day. Around 24 hours after the internal bounce game, the sessions were largely aimed at stabilisation and regeneration from the previous day's exerts.

It was relaxation instead of full-throttle training for most of the players. But goalkeepers Rafal Gikiewicz and Lennart Moser went through their paces between the sticks by coach Michael Gspurning. Jakob Busk, meanwhile, joined the rest of the squad who went through a string of exercises to recharge the muscles with fitness coach Martin Krüger. Head coach Urs Fischer led the run around the pitch while Maximilian Perschk, the club's physio, led a stretching programme and yoga on mats. The rest of the day was free.

NOTE: Krüger used his lunch break to chat through the training programme. It's available on our club channel, but only in German.
