1. FC Union Berlin and Cihan Kahraman have agreed the early termination of his contract, which runs until June 2020. The 20-year-old cancelled his contract today in Köpenick having spent seven years in the club's academy and first-team system.

"Cihan is a good footballer with a lot of potential, but this season it would have been difficult for him to get time in our Bundesliga team. The decision about his football future was open for a long time. A planned loan to Turkey could not be pushed through during this transfer period, so it was important for the player to be able to go a new way for his future without a contract.
