Union players on international duty:
For the upcoming international break, two first-team players will head off this week to represent their respective national teams.

Meanwhile, club captain Christopher Trimmel has earned a spot in the Austrian national team squad for the first time in nine-and-a-half years. In recent breaks, the 32-year-old has been on standby as a result of his form for 1. FC Union Berlin, but will now go into Franco Foda's squad for the next two Euro 2020 qualifiers. Austria will play Israel on Thursday October 10 in Vienna before heading to Slovenia on Sunday October 13.
