After two victories against Türkgücü München and Waldhof Mannheim, Union's next opponent in the German Cup is city rivals Hertha. Urs Fischer's side reached the quarter-final in 2019/20, beating SC Verl in the Round of 16 before defeat at Bayer Leverkusen.
