1. FC Union Berlin will host the 17th Weihnachtssingen (Christmas Carols) at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei on Monday 23 December from 19:00.

It's a chance for the Union family to come together for the final time of the year, reflect on what has happened and get in the mood for Christmas. We'll light some candles, take a deep breath and of course sing some classic Christmas carols.

So the event can be pleasant for everyone, here are some guidelines:

• We ask supporters or spectators to arrive via public transport as the parking spaces are limited. The stadium opens from 17:00.
• The security measures for Weihnachtssingen will meet the same high standards as Bundesliga match days. All guests are asked to allow sufficient time for checks.
• Please follow the instructions from the stewards around the ground. The map, which can be found on the back of the ticket, should be of assistance.

The following stadium sections are accessible:

• Main stand (section 1), Waldseite (section 2), Gegengerade (section 3), Wuhleseite (section 4 & 5) and the inside areas.
• The inside areas and section 1 are only accessible through entrances A & E.
• Guests with tickets for sections 3-4-5 are asked to use the entrances behind the Wuhleseite if possible.
• The standing areas for sections 2-3-4-5 can be accessed from all entrances around the outside of the stadium.

Our stadium regulations still apply:

• Bulky items (i.e. prams, folding stools, etc), glass bottles and flasks are not permitted to be brought into the stadium.
• Cameras are allowed to be used in the stadium — different to the normal matchday rules.
• To avoid delays at the turnstiles, all fans are requested not to bring large bags or luggage.

In the stadium:

• Candles and songbooks are available for free at all entrances.
• All catering points will be open.
• Union products are available from the Zeughaus at the stadium, at the Haämmerlingeck corner and at the beer stands. There are sales booths inside the ground.

The programme of events:

• 17:20: Start of pre-programme: male choir and brass band on stage
• 19:00: Start of the event, end at 21:00

The event has been sold out for a number of weeks and tickets are no longer available. The youth academy work is supported by the money from the event. Donations to support the youth academy work are kindly requested.
