As of season 2020/21, 1. FC Union Berlin will be equipped by global kit supplier Adidas.

The partnership has already been in the works for a year with Adidas supplying the footwear for the players and staff. From this summer, the company based out of Herzogenaurach near Nürnberg will supply all kits, team wear and equipment for the Bundesliga club.

"We're really pleased about the partnership with one of the world's most renowned sports equipment manufacturers. We are currently preparing the launch of the first kits together. The anticipation is huge and we can hardly wait ourselves," says Thomas Stäpke, 1. FC Union Berlin's Director of Finance and Sales. "A little more patience will be necessary, but anticipation is palpable."

The supplier deal between Adidas and 1. FC Union Berlin starts from July 1.
