There was a surprise for one lucky supporter at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei yesterday. The club welcomed our 22,000th member, Marcus Dolling, who resides in Stuttgart.

Marcus was given a special scarf and signed shirt, as well as, a guided tour of the stadium. There was one more surprise in order however: the appearance of Sebastian Polter who joined the tour group at the Tunnel of Fame.

Without his knowledge, Marcus' wife organised the membership for his favourite club and had used the stadium tour as an excuse to spend a long weekend in Berlin. Our tour guide Matti Michalke gave Marcus a personal route around the stadium, showing him the terraces, the tunnel, as well as, the inner sanctums.

It's the first time in the club's history that we've grown the Union family to 22,000 members ... and counting!
