The decision of promotion from Regionalliga Nordost is still to be decided. VSG Altglienicke, Berlin-based with 47 points and level at the top of the league, are in a strong position at this point.

Former Union Berlin player Karsten Heine is Altglienicke's current head coach, while Torsten Mattuschka is the club's assistant boss. 

In order for Altglienicke to obtain a licence to play in Germany's 3.Liga, the club has to prove that it has a venue with floodlights. In this case, they can count on our support.

If necessary, VSG Altglienicke will play matches under the lights at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei, which would of course take into account the schedule of 1. FC Union Berlin.
