Union match goes ahead with 100% capacity
Berlin Derby:
1. FC Union Berlin's home match against Hertha BSC on Saturday will go ahead with full capacity.
The updated Infection Protection Measures in Berlin mandated that the match must take place under 2G health and safety regulations. This means that supporters attending the fixture must have proof of full vaccination or recovery not older than six months ago.
The full health and safety plan can be read here.
Clear Rules and Personal Responsibility:
For the best possible protection against the spread of the virus, 1. FC Union Berlin are not only complying with the rules laid out by the Senate of Berlin and in the stadium health and safety plan, but we are asking for personal responsibility. All ticket holders are recommended to get a test before coming to the stadium. If you receive a positive result, we ask for you not to attend.
A mask must be worn until you reach your place, but it is recommended that you keep it on.
The Alte Försterei Test Centre will be in operation and fans are invited to take a test there.
Ticket Allocation:
Season ticket holders can use their normal seats without taking part in the ballot. Those who have registered for tickets from Sunday will be notified tomorrow (Wednesday AM).
