The first friendly for the men's professional team of 1. FC Union Berlin will also mark the debut of Union’s new third kit for the 2023/24 season. 

After many Union players took advantage of the unique opportunity to take an exclusive first look at the new third kit at the Union-Zeughaus Bahnhofstraße last week, it can now be seen in public for the first time.

The rules state that the alternate jersey must be designed in completely different colours than the home and away shirts of a club, necessary if an opponent with similar club and kit colours have home rights when playing against Union.  

So, for this season, the alternate jersey is dark green and printed extensively with a discreet black pattern. The sleeves, collar and the three stripes on the shoulder are of a sandy-gold. The kit is completed with matching dark green shorts and dark green socks.

The new kit is available now for €89.95 (€69.95 for children’s sizes) online and in all Union’s Zeughaus stores.
