Charges stem from the game against Schalke

The court of the German Football Association (DFB) have fined 1. FC Union Berlin €17,000 after charges were brought by the DFB's controlling committee for unsportsmanlike conduct by their supporters.

At the start of the Bundesliga match at FC Schalke 04 on 27.08.2022, Union fans lit at least 17 flares and smoke bombs.

The club has agreed to the sentence, which is now legally binding
