1. FC Union Berlin continues to grow and can count on the support of 20,000 club members for the first time in our history.

Today began with a huge surprise for Peggy Nestler, when she and her husband browsed the Union club shop at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei.

A few days ago, her partner, Sven Köhler, presented her with a club membership for Peggy’s birthday.

"I've wanted to do this for a long time. After all, we've been going to Union for what felt like an eternity. Now I finally did it and then this call comes from the club: Can you come by? "Peggy is our 20,000th member." That was really crazy," explains Sven Köhler.

Sven himself can already look back on 30 years of being a member and is certainly still well remembered by many Union supporters as the initiator of the campaign "Seeing Together - Living Union".

Peggy Nestler was surprised and delighted in equal measure: "I came to the Union shop unsuspectingly because we wanted to buy something else and instead were received with flowers, champagne and a red-and-white wrapped gift".

In addition to a membership card with the number 20,000, the Zeughaus team presented Peggy with a jersey made exclusively for her. "I am very happy and the jersey with the number 20K and my name will of course accompany me to the stadium in the future," she said.
