This evening, 1. FC Union Berlin will take part in their first pre-season match with the new Bundesliga campaign just over a month away. As we get closer to action, 1. FC Union Berlin and Adidas can present to you the 2022/23 third kit.

A bespoke design for 1. FC Union Berlin, the alternative kit this season is black with small red and grey designs across the shirt. Both the collar and the famous three stripes are in the traditional red colours of the Köpenick club. For the first time, the main sponsor Wefox is printed in the middle of the shirt and will be accompanied by Comedy Central as sleeve partner for Bundesliga matches and Aroundtown for the DFB Pokal and UEFA Europa League. The classic Union motto of "UNVEU" is printed on the neck next to the club name.

The 2022/23 alternative kit is made of recycled polyester and is part of adidas Primegreen. Various recycled materials are used to produce kits in the Primegreen category.

Supporters will get the opportunity to see the jersey this afternoon when Urs Fischer's squad run out tonight at the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark to face Viktoria Berlin.
