At a press conference in Frankfurt, the DFL, the governing organisation of the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga, confirmed the next matchday will also be suspended.

Christian Seifert, Chairman of the DFL's Executive Committee, announced the Bundesliga would be suspended until April 2.

In the last week of March, the decision will be taken on how to proceed with the fixture schedule. A new Extraordinary General Meeting is planned, which will take into account further developments and the possible postponement of the European Championships by UEFA.
