The reconstruction work at Köpenick S-Bahn station is casting its long shadows over this corner of the city. Cable work is currently being carried out in the area of Hämmerlingstraße / Am Bahndamm meaning Hämmerlingstraße is closed to vehicle and bicycle traffic in both directions between Am Bahndamm and Friedenstraße (railway bridge).

This means that pedestrians cannot pass Hämmerlingstraße from now on on home matchdays until the summer. The underpass at the corner of Am Bahndamm/Hämmerlingstraße will also be temporarily closed to pedestrians for every home match.

All Union fans are therefore requested to use the footpath along the Wuhle to Hämmerlingstraße via Bahnhofstraße to get to the stadium.
