Union and Immoscout24 Support the Berlin City Mission's Cold Weather Bus
Since 1994, the Berlin City Mission's cold weather bus has been travelling the streets of the capital every winter to provide homeless people with warm clothing and hot drinks, take them to emergency accommodation or offer them a warm sleeping bag.
Between the beginning of November and the end of March, the Kältebus can be found on the streets of Berlin every evening. However, as the City Mission's clothing supply is already almost empty, 1. FC Union Berlin, together with their foundation "UNION VEREINT. Schulter an Schulter" as well as sponsor Immoscout24, are appealing for donations. In the current sub-zero temperatures, sleeping in the open air is life-threatening and so warm sleeping bags are particularly needed.
Next Monday and Tuesday, Union fans can drop off warm, washed and intact sleeping bags in the car park in front of the Fanhaus (Lindenstraße 18/20, 12555 Köpenick) between 08:00 and 15:00. On Tuesday it is possible to drop off bags until 18:00. The Union Foundation also accepts monetary donations for the purchase of new sleeping bags
