Christmas Carol Singing 2022
Info for the Evening
28,500 people are expected to attend 1. FC Union Berlin's 20th annual "Weihnachtssingen" - the Christmas Carol singing - on Friday evening (23.12.2019) at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei.
Traditionally this is where the Union family comes together for one last time in the year to get in the mood for the Christmas season. The lighting of candles, the time for reflection, and of course the communal singing, awaits all our guests and friends who can attend.
To ensure that the evening is a success, all guests are asked to observe the following instructions:
- It is requested that you arrive in good time by public transport, as there are hardly any parking spaces available in the area around the stadium. The stadium opens at 5 pm.
- The security measures for the Christmas Singing meet the same high standards as for Union's match days. All guests are advised to allow sufficient time for the admission checks.
- Please follow the instructions of the stewards around the stadium. For orientation on site, please refer to the site plan, which can also be found on the admission ticket.
The following stadium areas are accessible:
- The main stand (Sector 1), the waldseite (Sector 2), the central terrace, the "gegengerade" (Sector 3), the wuhleseite (Sectors 4 & 5) and the pitch.
- The pitch and Sector 1 seating area can only be accessed via the entrances to the left (A) and right (E) of the main stand. Guests with tickets for Sectors 3, 4 & 5 are requested to use the entrances on the wuhleseite if possible (ticket office areas III & IV, special entrance (E)).
- The standing areas in Sectors 2, 3, 4 and 5 can be reached from all entrances via the path running around behind the standing areas.
The stadium regulations apply:
- Bulky items (such as prams; folding stools etc.), glass bottles and thermos flasks may not be brought into the stadium.
- As opposed to the usual stadium regulations, recording devices and cameras are permitted.
- In order to avoid delays at the entrances, all visitors are requested not to carry large bags or luggage.
In the stadium:
- Candles and songbooks are available free of charge at all direct entrances to the stadium areas.
- All catering stations will be open. In the can be paid in cash as well as cashless with EC or credit card or mobile via mobile phone.
- Union fan merchandise will be available at the Union-Zeughaus Waldseite and the Hämmerlingeck and Bierkasse sales stands. There will also be two stalls behind the central terrace.
