Changes to Membership Fee Regulations
From July 1
At the Annual General Meeting of 1. FC Union Berlin in November 2017, a majority voted to adjust the conditions of the membership fee regulations in order to provide economic relief for Union members old and young.
The new membership fee regulations, which come into force on 01.07.2018, include the reduction of fees for children and youngsters, as well as, the option of a family membership.
Changes to membership fee regulations for children and young people:
Children and young people under 18 years pay only 3,50 Euros per month instead of 5 Euros for their club membership. The change to the reduced monthly fee will take place automatically at the start of the new season on 01.07.2018.
Introduction of the family membership:
The advantage of taking out or transferring existing club memberships to the new family membership is that parents will pay a monthly contribution of 1 Euro for their children up to the age of 12.
An existing adult or child membership can be converted into a family membership at the Union club shop at any time. The corresponding application form can be found both online and at any of the three club stores in Berlin.
Please note: Parents are e.g. father, mother, foster parents, adoptive parents or, in the case of the same residence, partners of the mother or father. Family membership is not possible for grandma and grandpa or aunt and uncle, etc.
