5000 and 2G Plus
Freiburg at home:
1. FC Union Berlin will play SC Freiburg in the final home Bundesliga game of the season on Wednesday.
As was the case for the UECL game at the Olympiastadion, the 2G-Plus rules apply to stadium visitors, where vaccinated ticket holders who have recovered from Corona must also present a negative daily antigen rapid test or a PCR test (48h validity).
Due to this additional infection protection rule, the distance requirement for the permitted 5,000 participants is no longer applicable and the allocation of seats is no longer subject to the checkerboard principle. Therefore, in addition to the main stand, only the back straight and the guest block will be open.
The allocation of tickets will again be handled by lottery among the season ticket holders. The lottery will start today, Friday, 10.12.2021 at 12 noon and will end on Sunday, 12.12.2021 at midnight.
Since seats no longer have to be allocated on a checkerboard basis, season ticket holders whose ticket has won will be admitted to the stadium with their season ticket. This means that the additional booking of seats that has been customary up to now in the lottery procedure is no longer necessary.
If fewer season ticket holders take part in the lottery than there are free seats, sales to Union members will start at 12 noon on Tuesday.
