Union welcome Hannover at home
U19 Bundesliga:
1. FC Union Berlin's under-19 side are looking to build on their victory over TSV Havelse last week when Hannover 96 come to the capital on Saturday August 25.
Willi Weiße's team have started with two games on the road — a draw at Carl Zeiss Jena and a win at Havelse by three goals. "But before the two-week break in the season, we want to continue the positive upward trajectory," said Weiße ahead of his side's match.
Hannover, who finished ninth last season and won the DFB Pokal the year prior, kicked off the campaign with a defeat against Werder Bremen (1-3). They've followed that up with a 3-1 win over TSV Niendorf and a 4-1 thrashing of Havelse to move up into fourth position.
Saturday's game kicks off at 12:00 local time and takes place at FEZ-Berlin.
Admission for our U19 and U17 matches this season are free.
