Union travel to Leipzig

On Saturday at 13:30, 1. FC Union Berlin's under-19s will head for RB Leipzig as they look to continue a positive start to 2020 in the U19 Bundesliga.

The teams will meet at the Cottaweg in Leipzig and the home side are just three points behind Union in fifth place. Leipzig have played 18 games so far — compared to Union's 15 — so there's still an advantage for Köpenick club as the season progresses. Last time out, Union beat Hamburg 3-1 on home soil with goals from Fisnik Asllani, Tim Maciejewski and Fabio Schneider.

"RB Leipzig have come out of the first four games this year with 17-0 goal difference and a full points total," said coach Andre Vilk. "We, on the other hand, are undefeated since the start of October and want to continue to make a mark. However, the players can't forget what makes our game stand out, if we want to keep it going. They should also find ways to counter the robustness of the home team."
