On Saturday February 23, 1. FC Union Berlin's U19s will take on Hertha Berlin as they look to bounce back from last week's loss at Hannover.

"The derby is obviously special for both teams. The boys are looking forward to coming up against some familiar faces," said head coach Toni Mandl. "We have to be concentrated and also passionate. Last week's good developments should be put to one side to focus on the debry."

Union Berlin went down 4-2 in Lower Saxony last week despite making a great start to the match. Daniel Eidtner netted his eighth of the season to give the visitors the lead, but Hannover came back into the game and led 3-1 after the interval. Leon Sitz cut the deficit temporarily but the Reds won the game by a two-goal margin in the end.

Saturday's game takes place on Wurfplatz at Hertha's HQ in Charlottenberg. It has been a busy week for Hertha, who came through their UEFA Youth League tie with French side Paris Saint-Germain.
